Helen A. Rella is an honors graduate of Hobart/William Smith College (Phi Beta Kappa, cum laude, B.A. 1984) and Georgetown University Law Center (J.D. 1987). At Georgetown, Helen served as Articles Editor for The Tax Lawyer, and as Managing Editor of the Georgetown Journal of Legal Ethics. She is admitted to practice law in the state and federal courts in New York, New Jersey and the District of Columbia.

Helen is an experienced litigation and trial attorney and has represented clients in a wide range of complex commercial matters, including breach of contract, employment, defamation, licensing and intellectual property disputes. She has handled trials and appeals in state and federal courts, as well as in arbitration, mediation and administrative agencies.

Helen has particular expertise in labor and employment law, representing both individual and corporate clients. She is expert at developing and implementing appropriate personnel policies and procedures; regularly counsels clients on compliance with anti-discrimination laws; conducts seminars for client's management teams on implementing corporate policies; prepares and negotiates employment contracts, confidentiality, separation and settlement agreements; and defends clients against discrimination claims.

Helen also has substantial experience in the entertainment field. She holds a Certificate in Film from New York University, is a graduate of the Director's Guild of America Assistant Director's Training Program and is well versed in all aspects of record and film production.

Before joining Wilk Auslander, Helen was In-House Counsel for the American Federation of Musicians of the United States and Canada, an associate in the law firms of Proskauer Rose Goetz and Mendelsohn and Pavia & Harcourt, and a partner in the law firm of Rella & Rella. Helen has a working knowledge of Italian.
