Jeffrey A. Leighton is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania (B.A., magna cum laude, 1979) and Georgetown University Law Center (J.D., 1982).

As a partner in Wilk Auslander’s Corporate Department, Jeff represents a broad array of businesses in drafting and negotiating business agreements, including shareholders’ agreements, LLC operating agreements, partnership agreements, joint venture agreements, license agreements, distribution agreements and employment agreements. In addition to advising clients on day-to-day legal matters, Jeff also works extensively on corporate transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions and commercial finance. A significant portion of Jeff’s practice involves businesses in high tech industries, such as software development companies, information technology services companies and computer consulting firms. Jeff also represents clients in a wide variety of other business sectors and industries, including manufacturing concerns, distributors and service businesses such as accounting, public relations and insurance brokerage firms. Jeff is a member of both the New York and New Jersey bars, and practices actively in both states.

Jeff has been a partner at Anderson Kill & Olick, P.C. and was most recently a partner in Davidoff Malito & Hutcher LLP.
