James Kennedy is a graduate of Georgetown University (1982) and Pace University School of Law (1985), where he was a member of the Moot Court Board. Jim began his career at Kurzman Karelsen & Frank LLP and later was a partner and head of the real estate group at Hall Dickler LLP. Jim's practice centers on real estate transactions of all types, including leasing, acquisitions and dispositions, mortgage lending and development work. Jim has extensive experience in commercial leasing, particularly in the representation of retailers in shopping centers and in free standing locations throughout the United States. Jim has also counseled private individuals, not-for-profit organizations, cooperative apartment corporations and condominium associations in connection with their unique requirements. Jim was a contributor to Bergerman & Roth, New York Real Property Forms, Chapter 32 "Cooperatives,” Mathew Bender, 1987.
