Jay S. Auslander is a graduate of Yeshiva University (B.A. 1985) and Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law (J.D. 1988), where he was a member of the International Law Journal. Mr. Auslander represents hedge funds, investment banks, commercial banks, public and private companies, and high-profile individuals. Mr. Auslander has extensive experience representing clients in complex corporate/commercial and securities litigation in the federal and state trial and appellate courts; in connection with inquiries and investigations by regulatory bodies and SROs including the Securities and Exchange Commission, Financial Institutions Regulatory Authority (FINRA), and various congressional committees; and in arbitral forums including FINRA, the London Court of International Arbitration, and the American Arbitration Association. A significant part of Mr. Auslander’s practice focuses on substantial judgment enforcement (with a particular emphasis on distressed debt), in which Mr. Auslander represents clients in complex, post-judgment enforcement proceedings, both domestically and internationally.
Prior to joining Siller Wilk LLP, Mr. Auslander was a partner in the litigation departments of Wolf Haldenstein Adler Freeman & Herz LLP and Harris Beach LLP.
