Jay S. Auslander is a graduate of Yeshiva University (B.A. 1985) and Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law (J.D. 1988), where he was a member of the International Law Journal. Jay's practice focuses on complex corporate and commercial litigation in federal and state trial and appellate courts and in arbitral forums such as the American Arbitration Association and National Association of Securities Dealers. Jay has extensive experience in all phases of complex litigation, from pre-trial planning through trial and appeal. Jay has acted as outside general counsel to his clients, working with transactional partners to advise clients on a broad range of issues including taxation, business and real estate transactions, litigation, and asset protection. Jay represents a diverse group of clients, including entrepreneurs, privately-held entities, and public companies including first-tier national retailers and major investment firms.
Jay has written and published many articles on a variety of litigation procedures and is a member of the American Bar Association, New York State Bar Association, and Association of the Bar of the City of New York. Prior to joining Siller Wilk LLP, Jay was a partner in the litigation departments of Wolf Haldenstein Adler Freeman & Herz LLP and, most recently, Harris Beach LLP.
