NEW TRADEMARK FILING FEES

Effective January 31, 2005, the U.S. Trademark Office's fee for filing an application electronically became $325 per international class, a decrease of $10 per class. The fee for paper filings went up to $375 per class, an increase of $40. This change is consistent with the Trademark Office's recent efforts to discourage paper filings and move toward an all-digital system.
