James C. Kennedy and Kenneth S. Oltarsh join Siller Wilk LLP
January 2004
Siller Wilk LLP is pleased to announce that James Kennedy and Kenneth Oltarsh have joined our real estate group. Jim and Ken were partners at Hall Dickler LLP. Jim joins us as a partner and Ken joins us as counsel.
Jim's practice centers on real estate transactions of all types, including leasing, acquisitions and dispositions, mortgage lending and development work. Jim has extensive experience in commercial leasing, particularly in the representation of retailers in shopping centers and in free standing locations throughout the United States, and in real estate lending transactions. He is a graduate of Georgetown University (1982) and Pace University School of Law (1985).
Ken is well known throughout the shopping center industry and spent many years negotiating and preparing leases with most of the major shopping center developers in the country on behalf of such nationally known retailers as Saks Fifth Avenue and Marshall Field's. Ken represents both landlords and tenants, and has extensive experience as well with coops and condominiums. Ken is a graduate of The Ohio State University (cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa) and of The Harvard Law School.
Siller Wilk is excited and very pleased that Jim and Ken have joined us. For our clients, Jim and Ken bring a wealth of experience and sophistication that will continue to cement Siller Wilk's reputation as one of the leading small-firm real estate departments in New York City if not the country.
